I’m Danielle and I work in the Quality and Aftercare department. My role is to supervise the team and help ensure the department runs as smoothly as possible. Our core tasks involve quality checking every single order that is submitted by our researchers, so my team and I perform quality checks by reading through your order to check it meets your order requirements thoroughly. On occasion, where appropriate, we offer advice to your researcher for potential areas of improvement simply to make sure you are entirely satisfied with your model answer. Our other main responsibility involves communicating with you, our clients, post-delivery of your order. This involves answering any questions you may have, any issues you may have with your order, as well as any amendment requests you’d like to make. My task is to deal with your correspondence as promptly as possible and in the best way possible to ensure your satisfaction.
So, a typical day for me would involve arriving around 9am (depending on my shift that day), grabbing a bowl of Special K (the one with red berries preferably) and a glass of orange squash while checking for any orders that are due to be delivered that morning, since we offer shorter turnaround services for those of you who need your model answer urgently. Once I have quality checked these, I make a start on proofreading and checking any new orders on the system. This involves ensuring the order makes full sense and has enough information to ensure the order is completed to standard.
Then my priority is to respond to all of the messages sent in by clients like you, as well as researchers working on the orders for you. These messages range from simple questions about an order or about how your researcher is progressing, to requests for clarification on the way your order has been written or any amendments you’d like to request on your order. We mainly deal via the message system, as we prefer to get everything recorded in writing to avoid any confusion or meaning lost via a telephone call. It’s difficult to scribble down notes and remember everything said in a call, hence this preference, as we want to make sure we get everything right for you should you request any changes to your order.
Throughout the day, I also quality check orders that are due out that day and carry out other minor tasks such as releasing amendments submitted, and I deal with telephone queries from researchers needing any assistance in the writing or amendment process. I also make time to check my emails, as I deal with proofreading all of the copy you see on our website, and this is where the text is sent for checking. So, I’m the one that hopes you don’t spot too many grammatical/spelling errors on the site ;)
